Toshiba Introduces New Business VoIP PBX: VIPedge Offers Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) a Variety of PBX Options with a Low Per-Seat License

Toshiba America Information Systems has launched a new cloud-based business PBX system. Called VIPedge, it complements Toshiba's existing VoIP PBX systems — including the premise-based IPedge — to create an affordable, scalable hosted business VoIP phone system with a low monthly fee.

Starting as low as $29.95 per user, VIPedge offers enterprise-level features at an affordable monthly rate, plus optional international calling plans. The hosted PBX system supports the same IP phone models as the fully converged IPedge PBX system, including wireless models as well as desktop handsets.

Along with voicemail and other business VoIP PBX system staples, VIPedge offers:

  • Unified messaging
  • Find Me/Follow Me
  • Softphone
  • Instant messaging

VIPedge also includes the Call Manager app with unified communications (UC) features such as:

  • Click-to-call
  • Presence monitoring
  • Click-to-call

As a business VoIP PBX solution, VIPedge also supports integration with some of the leading customer relationship management (CRM) applications, including:
