Extremely responsive support and account management team! Management console is straightforward and easy to quickly make configuration changes to our virtual pbx. The Bad:
Still have to rely on traditional carriers that have pass through costs (e.g., DIDs) to Voip customers. Would Recommend to a friend.
Jive: Very Useful Have been a customer for over six months now with no service issues. Can't say enough about customer service as they make everything easy. Porting numbers was simple (from our end) - just had to wait on the several week process from the carrier. Flexibility offered by the virtual pbx has been very useful when needing to quickly add extra conference bridges or changing dial plans. Anyone looking for a better provider should consider Jive.

Jive: Very Affordable! Great Customer Service! I did my research before I chose a VOIP service. My experience with VOIP prior to Jive was with Packet 8 with a previuos company. When it came time to start my own businessI chose Jive. Great customer service with installation and changes. Easy to use phones. If you want to stop your research now on VOIP and go with a great product then choose Jive, you will not be disappointed.

Jive: Very Pleased We've used Jive since 2009. Service has been great and their customer support is outstanding. We're not opening a new office and with Jive, we'll be able to seemlessly transfer calls between our main and satellite office. We are VERY pleased.

Jive: So far not so good We switched to Jive after reading the glowing reviews and needing get a provider that offered a more jitter free experience. Jive had a higher cost with the type of setup we needed, but we thought they imbued quality and were willing to ante up for it. It hasn't been a good experience thus far however, what we've experienced is a system riddled with bugs of varied degrees. The biggest of which right now is one where the pbx stops playing the ringing sound to the caller (although while still proceeding with the call on all other accounts) making them think the line has disconnected. They of course hang up and call back never being able to leave a voicemail and driving us crazy with trying to catch the call. Over the past month Jive's support, while being friendly and nice, hasn't been able to figure it out. Add that to the problem we started encountering this week of some calls only ringing once before actually disconnecting them, and it becomes a hindrance on your business.My evaluation is that it would appear Jive has the right theory going with treating the customer well, but just hasn't had the engineering time or muscle yet to create a reliable system the customer needs. I might check them out again in 5 yrs to see if that's changed.

Had a connection issue, but it was quickly and professionally corrected by Jive Would Recommend to a friend.
Jive: Unbelievable Support The entire experience from searching for VoIP providers to initial selection to initial setup was all excellent with all contact points within Jive. After a month of no issues we suddenly started to have connection issues. We contacted Jive Tech Support and were provided with unbellievable support in determining the source of the problem and figuring out a solution. The issue ended up not being with any Jive service or provdied equipment but with our router. Tech support was extremely knowledgable and patient. The problem was corrected with minimal frustration and included an unexpected follow-up by Jive a day later to make sure everything was working correctly.

Jive: Quick and Helpful I recently switched the office over to VoIP service from ATandamp;T. From beginning to end the process was straight forward and the customer service was impeccable. I have since submitted a few trouble tickets regarding additional setup feature information that I wasn't able to find answers to in their Knowledge Base and the responses were quick and helpful. I haven't had experience with any other VoIP providers, but if the service continues at the same level, I don't plan to.

Jive: Effortless Working with the Jive team and setting up my inital account / phone proved effortless. The online PBX software allowed me tremendous flexbility to configure Jive features to meet my needs today and in the future.

Jive: Best Value for the Quality This is the best value for the quality of service and reliability of any voip service I have used. In the 3 years of service, i have not had any issues with quality and the customer service has always been top notch! I would recommend anyone with a small business of 2-20 phones to use this system.

Jive: 1000% thumbs up The experience with Jive has been 1000% thumbs up. Anyone that I have had to communicate with has been nothing less than professional, knowledgeable, efficient and extremely pleasant. I wish I had started with Jive when I first set up my VOIP system rather than having to switch to them. When I decided I needed to switch VOIP companies, I narrowed the choice down to a few companies, read the reviews and decided on Jive. It "jived" with the criteria I established for switching to a different VOIP company. Since I relied on client review, I felt I should add a review so it may help other clients make the right choice and "Get Jive". I'm glad I did.

The service is extremely easy to set up and install, especially when compared to a traditional in house PBX or small business system. Administering the system does not require a technology background. The price point makes it difficult to beat when adding up all the features. Lastly, the customer service is second to none. The representatives that I've had the pleasure to deal with have been very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. The Bad:
No wireless conference phone offered. Would Recommend to a friend.
Jive: Easy Service Jive has been my telecom provider since the day I opened my business in January 2009. They were instrumental in helping me understand what my needs would be and in designing a system around my business. Shortly after signing up for the service a box showed up with the phones, I plugged them in and they worked. I've found that the system has a lot more features than what I am using so for anyone who needs all the bells and whistles, this is the solution. Also, the billing is very simple and straight forward. Unlike the help lines for some other companies there is always a friendly, easy to understand person on the other end of the line. I continue to recommend Jive to other business owners.

Jive helped me when I didn't know I needed it From the initial call to Jive for Sales till the day we cancelled our old provider I have been impressed with the customer service and response time.At first glance I saw all these reviews that give them such a high rating, I was skeptical. I believed that there is no way the service was going to be that good. We started because they gave us a trial period, we stayed because of the customer service and response time.Every department of Jive that I have worked with, provided me a quick answer to my question, detailed hands on or written instructions, they used whatever I needed at the time. This allowed me to learn to navigate the new system quickly. I use hard phones, soft phones and transfer in coming calls to my cell at times. Our phone plan was set up in an hour, I called for assistance 30 minuets later. After my initial question was answered, the representative said "I notice that your missing a sound bite in your phone plan. Do you need assistance with that? You can use one you've already created if you'd like." I missed putting the message in that spot and never noticed it, this was unrelated to the question I called in about. They helped me even when I didn't know I needed it. I am thankful a client didn't received a blank message.

We would like to have the email version of the voice message transcribed as text. The wav file is great if no one is in your office or sits next to you. However, if you have no privacy, the text version is needed. If the choice is one or the other, I would take the wav file. However, both options are needed. Would Recommend to a friend.

Outstanding Customer Support - 1st Class Overall, Jive communications is the best choice out there - by far. I have $200 Cisco router purchased at BestBuy a few years ago, and better than 3meg up/down internet speed and it has performed flawlessly. I've seen complaints of sound clipping elsewhere, but I can honestly say I think this has everything to do with router settings. If you want ANY VOIP phone to work, you need to have a router that provides QOS (Quality of Service) settings. What that means is that on the router, you can set the port the phone is plugged into to have priorty over the other ports. When someone is downloading a large file, or playing a game over the internet, the sound quality will remain consistent because the QOS setting ensures it always has enough bandwidth.I've been using Jive for 2.5 years and never experienced any problems that couldn't be quickly resolved. Most needs were things like making changes to how calls were routed, or adding/deleting users from the system. In cases where I forgot, a quick call to the Jive team resulted in action and resolution.I would highly recommnend Jive to anyone looking for a good small business solution.

Jive has been excellent for the past 4 years We've been with them since early 2008 - excellent provider. They have added a lot of features over the years, same price though.Overall I would definitely recommend them, as we have had no problems for the last 4 years with our phones, and they have kept prices level.Features we use are the Auto Attendand (for the multiple extension routing), conference calls, and routing virtual extensions to people's mobile phone numbers.

Jive Rocks! We switched from running our own phone server (I know, really geeky right!) to Jive last month. The process of switching was seamless! We got a free trial so I could set up and test things out for a while. I had our entire phone system (26 extensions, 6 conference rooms, call queues, etc) set up in a few hours inside Jive. We wanted to make sure we had feature parity with the current system. Jive delivered and then some.The thing that I can't emphasize enough is the Jive administration interface is so easy to use and straight forward. It basically makes me look like a phone system superhero. I can make really advanced dial plans with ease. With the old system any change was painful torture, but with Jive it's downright fun!The total cost of Jive is actually cheaper than what we were paying for our T1's + long distance. So I get the benefit of someone else worrying about the technical details of running the phone servers plus a lower monthly bill. It's a no-brainer!

I highly recommend Jive. Only company that I found to be so transparent I am a long-time Financial Services Recruiter that lives on the phone. There is no bigger decision for a small company like ours than phones. I researched every leading VOIP provider; read every review I could get my hands-on and focused only on the negative reviews to learn what the worst cases were. It seemed from Jive that as long as I purchased the Polycom phone from them with a solid router, I would be trouble free-I am! I have never written a review prior to this one. Jennifer helped me through the quote process and specifically in providing the exact set-up I needed (a main number and direct dial numbers for me and my partner). We seem like a much larger company with our customized auto-attendant. I wasn't able to totally update our greeting so I called customer service. The Tech was great and helped me with that and a few other minor questions I had. The best part is the voice is the clarity - truly amazing (first time with HD phones). It sounds as if we are in the room with our caller not on the phone. This is a huge step up over Vonage. The only thing I miss is a transcript of the calls from voicemail. I got very use to reading the message. It is a minor point and definitely not a make or break. I highly recommend Jive. Check out their videos on their website; only company that I found to be so transparent. I received exactly what I expected.

We have been using Jive for almost a year We have been using Jive for almost a year now in 3 offices on the east coast. We have been completely happy with the service they hae provided. I strongly recommend using the Polycom phones that Jive recommends. They truly are a great phone paired with their service. We will be converting our main office to Jive as soon as our current contract runs out, then the entire company will be on Jive. The online administration interface is incredibly easy to with compared to traditional phone systems. I strongly recommend Jive to other small businesses out there.

Re: Jive Communications From the 1st phone call with the sales associate I could tell there was something different about Jive. The other calls I made looking for pricing, phone hardware, etc. were all vague and non-specific with prices. They seemed to be in the business of "ballparking" everything. The Jive sales associate went over each feature in detail and a few minutes after completing the call I got a very professional quote via email showing all the pricing for the system we were looking for. It was their promise to me of the service and features we discussed in detail and in writing. It was refreshing to know just what the costs would be instead of the "guesstimates" I got from every other carrier I called.Our initial set-up went wrong from the beginning but the support technicians worked extremely hard to get everything up and running. We had some building issues, etc. but they plugged away until we got everything solved. I've not experienced support like Jive's EVER. They are very knowledgable about their systems and are always willing to work through whatever issue you are having (small or large) to completion. They are prompt in completing any research needed to troubleshoot or problem solve. I don't want it to sound like I've had to make a lot of service calls. I haven't, but this is my first time using VoIP and I needed some guidance in getting started, etc. The support technicians are the best! Based on the sales and service I highly recommend Jive.Our staff has enjoyed the "find me follow me" feature and the ability to design the dial plan was new to me but I have completely embraced it. We are looking forward to a long relationship with the Jive team.

Great Customer service. It's easy to get someone on the phone whether it's sales, billing, or the important support department. We started with them a few years ago, none of our old cisco phones where SIP activated, they spent A LOT of time and patience getting our phones to configured, which says alot, because it is not their responsibility. We have gone from 2 lines to now 5. The dial plan manager is easy to set up and has lots of options. The Bad:
the phone call report is delayed 1 day. so you can not see todays call reports. Their pricing is getting more in line with the other providers. Wish they would offer desktop fax capability. Would Recommend to a friend.
Jive: Great Customer service They are reponsive to letting you know if there is going to be any maintenence. Over the 2+ years that we have been with them I can only think of 2or 3 outages and that lasted only a hour tops. Customer service is very helpful. Our current bandwith is on the low end, we are only using Business DSL with 5 workstations, 2 servers, and 4 VOIP phones and they quality is still pretty good, we never get any dropped calls, but sometimes its broken up. We are moving to Comcast Buiness Cable in winter and that should greatly improve quality. So the quiality is not really Jives fault but our low bandwidth, just make sure you have enough. Make sure your phones are SIP.

Not a Jive Issue, but make sure you follow the trail when porting your number. We had a big problem as our main number was supposed to get ported and then they (ATandT) gave it to another company...Huge hassle and we Would Not Recommend to a friend.
Jive Communications Review We have been a JIVE customer since 2008 and love it. We spent a lot of time back then finding a provider and reviewing ratings from customers. It is nice to know that I can write this positive review as well since it is so important to a small business to make the right choice. Buy from get Jive too and you will not be disappointed! Set up is a snap with their customer service department and the ease of use and features are extensive. In fact, we still don't scratch the surface of any of these features, but it is great to know that they are there if you need them.

Jive Communications - Great Economical Option for Phone Service We have been with Jive Communications for about 4 years now and are 100% satisfied with the service. Jive made it so easy to get all setup and up and running in no time. There customer support is always friendly and eager to assist with upgrades or questions. Phone service is very affordable. We were paying over $400 month phone bill for long distance and 1 phone line with no auto attendant with our local phone company. Then we found Jive and now we are only paying about $150 a month, have 3 phone lines, multiple extensions and a very detailed Auto Attendant Phone System put in place via Jive. When our clients call in, it sounds like they are calling into a fortune 500 company now. We have multiple options setup like press 1 to place an order, press 2 to check your status. It's just awesome!! We have never experienced any down time - the service is very clear voice quality and it is reliable!! So we just want to say that we are very happy customers and anyone having second thoughts about giving Viop phones a try - take the leap and give Get Jive a try because they are AWESOME and the best out there HANDS DOWN!!

Our cordless phones still give us a bit of headache sometimes. It seems we've tried everything, but still can't get them to work 100% of the time. They do work 80% of the time. Would Recommend to a friend.

The features that are possible are amazing. I feel that my small business has the capabilty of larger companies with transferring, holding in a que, ring groups, calling trees and so much more. I also think the customer service reps have always been very courteous and polite. I feel like each time I call they are helpful in suggestions of how to make the phones work better for my company.

Candace our sales rep, was clear, identified our needs and followed up the whole thru the onboarding process. I have been a long time user -- using JIVE and getting VOIP many many years ago. I initially was scared of VOIP and initially (being a novice) I made every mistake possible. Jive technical support calmly walked me through everything. It has been an incredible benefit to our firm which has several divisions and locations -- we are all connected on the projects we mutually work on. So very cool! The Bad:

Jive Communications: My business has blossomed because I can have staff anywhere I carry a VOIP phone with me to conferences and on every business trip -- I am amazed how hotels are very accomodating. My business has blossomed because I can have staff anywhere. Our newest person is in Hawaii and we are constantly amazed -- she is not only one botton away, it sounds like she is in the next room. My firm just expanded with a new partnership. Our new partner decided he would work from his home and was going to use some local VOIP provider and I screamed "NO" -- check out JIVE. He is amazed at all the features and now is bringing staff in and having her work from one of our offices - giving us the receptionist we haven't had. I have no doubt part of it is because he believes we are really "with it" and on top of the technology curve.

We've been a happy Jive customer for 4 years We've been a happy Jive customer for 4 years. The setup was easy and they helped us configure our menu system to meet our unique routing needs. Some of our workers are remote and Customer Service is very helpful getting the phones to work nicely with home routers/firewalls. We've even been able to run a phone off a 4G connection. The upgraded system is a significant improvement. The admin is much easier to use and has added some nice new features. However, the upgrade process was a little problematic and took us a couple days to totally work through. Overall, we're very happy with Jive.

The customer service at Jive Communications is terrific The customer service at Jive Communications is terrific. My company was in the process of merging accounts with another company as well as installing new phones of a different manufacturer than the ones I am used to working with. Jive's customer service - in particular Nick - were extremely helpful in getting me (a technologically challenged person) to install the phones. The only hitch was the paperwork needed to change the phone line of the new company. The forms for processes like incorporation of one existing account into another were sent via email and the first time around it was a bit confusing whether they needed those forms faxed or simply emailed back...for future reference you need only fill out the form on the computer and email it back.

Jive was comptetive and their website was crystal clear We've been up for a week, so far we are 100% satisfied. We have offices in NY (6 lines) and SF (15 lines) and started by looking at Hosted VOIP that could use the Linksys/Cisco SPA phones we already owned from our previous system. Jive was one of these, their price was competitive, and their website was crystal clear about their service. We picked them, and the experience has been light years better than with our previous providers. Knowledgeable staff at every level, they answered every question without an extra phone call.

A little more than I wanted to pay, but the lower priced tiered services all appeared to be much lower tier providers. Their name. Jive just does not sound professional. I almost did not contact them because of the name. Would Recommend to a friend.
Jive Communications: Exteremly professional Once I signed up, I received an email welcoming me to Jive. I received a call from the installation specialist who started asking questions so that he could setup my find me /follow me and voice mail options. If did not even realize that I was getting a find me/follow me serivce. Unfortunatly, I could not stay on the phone that point so he made an appointment with me for the next day. Just as my appointment alarm went off, my phone rang. It was Jive to finish my installation.The installation took less than 30 minutes total and that included me making some serious changes to my firewall. If I had not had the firewall that I have, we would have had my Bria softphone up and running in about 15 minutes including the time he took to configure my find me/follow me and voice mail.My other through up their hands attempting to configure Bria and left it to me.

Customer service is top notch! From the sales department to the customer support. The few times I've had updates, questions, or problems Jive Support answers and resolves things immediately. If I have to leave a voicemail for support, someone from Jive gets back to me within 5 minutes. The Bad:
We've had Jive for about 3 years and I honestly can't think of any cons. Would Recommend to a friend.
Love, love, LOVE Jive When we decided to change our phone systems to VOIP, we looked into several companies. Jive won out in the competition with flying colors. Our sales rep, Candice, was very educated and passed that knowledge onto us in a friendly, non-forceful way. The number one thing that sold us on Jive was that they hosted everything for us on their end. No heavy equipment had to be installed or anything like that. Updating the phone system is a piece of cake ( like adding or changing an extension to a new user). Customer support is always a phone call away, and they ALWAYS solve my questions or problems within seconds. We have had Jive for over three years, and I couldn't be happier with our choice. Their customer service was the second thing that sold us on Jive, and I must say, it has not decreased from day one. With some companies, you have all the help in the world until you actually become a customer, but that is not the case with Jive. They have kept us happy every step along the way. Jive's been my choice time and time again I couldn't imagine having my phone system with anyone else. I've been responsible for telecommunications for a few organizations over the years, and Jive's been my choice time and time again. At first, I thought I could outsmart everyone and build a calling system for virtual offices andamp; employees via a combination of various products out there (VoIP, virtual PBX, mobile phones, land lines, etc.). I should have just called Jive from the get go. Sales, set up, pricing, and all that good stuff was super easy and straight forward. Even though we work in a "virtual world", it's still nice to feel "connected", and the phone and system features do a great job doing that for my org. End users have plenty of options for making their phone work for them without needing an IT degree, and I can keep the rest all neat and tidy via the web admin. And if I get into a pickle, Jive's customer service is available to help! I can't imagine having to deal with one of the larger, well-known telephone or cable companies for their "customized" solutions ever again. Everything about Jive just WORKS. Let's face it - there are plenty of options out there that can do similar things. I stick with Jive because I know I'm going to get great service for the price be it technical quality, advice, or support. I have never had a better partner in my business than Jive. They get me. I really don't know how they do it. As long as they keep on doing it, though, I'm a very happy customer.(One fun fact. My org hosts large conferences and events, and we use our Jive system onsite to keep our expected level of customer service. One of the phones was damange during transit. Jive helped me try to find a local retailer from who I could by a VoIP replacement. When none surfaced with a satisfactory phone, they overnighted a new phone ready to work just like the old one! And, after we settled back into our offices, they contacted me to see if we needed help repairing the old one! Now THAT'S service.)

Jive Communications is great I have been with Jive for nearly 4 years. Recently started a new account for our small company. Great service and flexibility. They seem able and willing to provide anything VOIP related that we need. Added a vanity toll free with no fuss, then helped me resolve how to handle the calls from that number in a very creative way. The responses have been very professional and prompt when needing information, support or answers. The pricing is fair. Recently, there was a system upgrade that provides amazingly superior voice quality and many enhanced features on the polycomm phone. It is a win-win relationship. I feel that there has been significant value provided by this vendor for my business. A terrific service.

Don't go cheap on the phone. We tried a low quality phone and it did not work well. We upgraded to the Polycom HD voice and it has been great. Would Recommend to a friend.
Jive Communications has been great Jive Communications has been great. From the beginning, we had a very good account represenative that helped us make the switch and save money. We did start off with a low quality phone and we had some latency issues. However, since we upgraded to the polycom HD voice, everything has worked great. Jive has been really easy to work with. The technical team helped us set up the web interface and design our voice mail systems for sales, customer service etc. Because if their training, it is very easy to use. I would highly recommend Jive communications to anyone looking for VOIP Service.

Reliable is a great word to sum up Jive! I really was in a delima when I had to choose a voip phone service for my company. I had just finished dealing with the local telephone company and the internal connections in the office and wires everywhere and was afraid the voip service would be worse than my local phone company....although I through our local company was horrible. I talked to a lot of people, checked out a number of sites and, actually, this site or one like it helped me make my decision to go with Jive. I knew they were a smaller company and that made me a little anxious but decided to go with them. Since then I have had as many as 10 phones on the system with them, with music on hold, a receptionist phone to as few as two phones and the service was and is the same.....Excellent!! They are quick to respond to any issues. They are responsive if I had any issues or questions on a bill. They gave me good service, professional treatment, and most important of all my phones worked as they were supposed to. I would not switch to any other service even if they gave it to me for free. Jive charges a truly fair fee for their services, which I do think is below most others. I can't say enough about this company!! They give what they promise and more. What a concept in today's market place....getting exactly what you pay for and more!

Jive has always been fantastic I signed up with Jive back in October 2008. As one could imagine, there have been some bumps over the years and service hasn't always been spotless. But, Jive has always been fantastic and we've stayed with them for a reason. I would estimate that since I signed up, Jive has had an uptime of 99% or better. Jive has also been very active in upgrading their services. The current online interface is almost too easy to use and it's kind of fun to set up my own call paths. Of course, I can always call and have them set it up, but the graphical interface allows me to conceptualize the call path and do pretty cool stuff with our phone system. Their staff is always fantastic and they put forth effort to resolve problems quickly.Over the years, I have explored other options and providers. I've signed up for demo accounts and tested out other services. There is no doubt that some services are cheaper. Jive's pricing structure includes virtually unlimited access to all of their features while other providers may take an al la carte approach. My office does not use many of the features available to us, and as a result could save a few bucks with an al la carte provider. However, these other services seem unrefined compared with the online functionality of Jive.I would love to see a click-to-call feature in the near future and also a way to record conversations through the online interface. Maybe even a way to transfer and manage calls through a web application.I have recommended jive to several people.

I love the call editor and the flexibility to manage my call flows. The phones I got from Jive are great. Customer service has usually been great. The Bad:
Every so often, I get garbled sound, either receiving or sending, depending on who's speaking. I have no idea if this is Jive's fault or my Internet service. It never lasts more than 2-3 seconds, so usually it doesn't disrupt my call. I don't know if this is common or not to VOIP. Also: I really wish I could block certain numbers, but I can't. Would Recommend to a friend.
Overall, I recommend Jive Overall, I recommend Jive. For the flexibility and price, it's definitely been worth it for my business. I would definitely recommend it to another colleague.

We wanted to try out VoIP to reduce our hardware and maintenance costs and on the reccomendation of a former colleague that had used other VoIP carriers and switched, we chose Jive. So far, the service and features have been great. We're very satisfied with the service and pricing. We will be migratin our other offices over to Jive.

We are very happy with our decision to go with Jive We are very happy with our decision to go with Jive. We started 1 year ago and use Jive in 3 locations in 2 states. Great to communicate with each other with just a 4 digit extension and no long distance charges. The quality of the equipment (25 phones) is excellent and we have not experienced any issues with the hardware. Tech support is quick, friendly and helpful. The cost of the equipment was easily paid for this year with the savings over our old phone system. I would recommend Jive to a friend.

Jive review: Very Professional, Full-Featured VOIP System When I started my business 4 years ago I knew that I wanted a VOIP system similar to what I was used to when I left the large multi-national company I was working for. I also knew that I didn't have the resources to pay for that system.That's what I love about JIVE! All of those same 'big boy' features for a fraction of the cost. When I was shopping around for different services, those BIG PLANS would have cost me upwards of $2,000 just to have set up, and then the monthly fees were in the hundreds.With Jive you get the same phone with the same features with the same scalability for just a couple of hundred to set up and a super low monthly fee (which is even less than the standard land line from the phone company).Get Jive! Their name says it all...

Every now and then (a couple of times per year), the phones need to be rebooted. It takes about 1 minute. No big deal. Also, we had to purchase our phones up front. Some providers will finance phones over the course of a contract. Would Recommend to a friend.
Jive offers headache free phone service We switched to JIVE housted PBX about 2 years ago. After some initial, minor issues, our phones have been working well. It is very important that you have decent internet bandwidth and quality Cat 5 or Cat 6 cabling as these phones operate over the same network as your computers. We chose the Polycom 550 phones which are well made and have a lot of great features.Jive offers headache free phone service. There is no maintenance or repair needed as the PBX is hosted. I highly recommend JIVE to all small businesses.

I have a law firm in New York City and we started using Jive a few years ago after we got fed up with Verizon. We have never looked back. We have 7 phones now. One of our employees is a mom who works from home and she has a Jive phone and we call her from the office - it is like she is here in the office. Also her clients can call the firm and press her extension number and it is like she is here in the office. It gives you flexibility to have remote workers. Also, I love the emails voice mail feature - whenever I get a voicemail at the office, it automatically gets emailed to my iphone so i never miss anything. I highly recommend Jive. They also have a great online system that lets you control your phone system and set call forwarding and messaging functions.

I have been a happy Jive Communications customer for over two years I have been a happy Jive Communications customer for over two years. I run two businesses out of my home and have a home line, two business lines with roll-overs and two different toll-free numbers. I had been paying Verizon about $350 per month for this service. My bill with Jive is slightly less than $100 a month. I did have to buy some VOIP phones at several hundred dollars each, but that cost was recovered in the first few months. When you call Jive about anything you quickly get a person who can, and wants to, help you. So untypical of most telephone companies. I'm a very happy Jive customer.

Needed some tweaking of bandwidth settings to get started and still get some cutting out on calls if we're maxing our bandwidth - but NOTHING like we used to. Would Recommend to a friend.
When we switched to Jive they were very responsive to the problems we had been having After a string of really bad office phone systems, we knew we had to make a change. When we switched to Jive they were very responsive to the problems we had been having and worked with us to make sure we would no longer have the static and interference that plagued our calls in the past. Customer service and technical support were always available to help us and stayed on the line with us as we tried to work out the bugs with our internet provider. Jive has also allowed us to keep offices in two separate states and get ahold of one another by just dialing an extension.

The only cons are that occasionally there are some network issues affecting call reliability. Typically, I receive an email stating that they have seen some problems and are investigating them. In many cases, I never noticed there was a problem. I would say their reliability is very good, and _almost_ as good as a straight land-line. Would Recommend to a friend.

Review of Jive: Great phones and service Great phones and service. We cut our bill in half, the service is reliable and over the past 5 months we have never been down. The sale people (Candace) who is fanstic and support was great. Phone delivery ready to go and we had them up and running within minutes. I would recommend them to others!!!
