TinCanTalk Truly Cares About Customers I choose to go with Tin Can Talk primarily for their customer support. When you do a search for VOIP providers, Tin Can Talk is not at the top of the list, and in some cases is not even on the list. However, if you dig a little bit, you will find them and they have excellent reviews! When you call them, they answer. When you email them, they reply. When you have a problem, they solve it. In my opinion, their customer support is second to none. They are not the cheapest (you get what you pay for), do not have the best features (some of which are never used anyway), and their web interface is not the best (but it gets the job done). This is a company that, I believe, truly cares about its customers and will do all they can to solve any problems you may have. They really want their customers to be satisfied. I can not emphasize enough Tin Can Talk's customer support. What good is a product if the company that sells you that product will not support it. I plan to be with them for a long time.

Re: TinCanTalk - You won't be sorry if you choose them! GREAT Folks. Everyone I have talked to is so friendly and helpful. When I first started with them, I was afraid to try to hook it up. They helped me over the phone. They were so patient with me. Got it working as fast as I could plug it in. I have been with them now for a year and the phone service is wonderful.Their price is what they say. No Surprises. They had a problem last September, but they took care of it in such a professional way. Everything is now fixed and the reliability is even better than before. I love them. You won't be sorry if you choose them!

TinCanTalk Review - Nice People, No Disaster Recovery I have been with TinCanTalk for over 2 years and was satisfied - until 3 weeks ago when the service went out. TCT blames their vendor and has transited to another. I'm trying to get a credit for the bill that came in the day after the service went out (9/21/2010 - today is 10/12). They claim to have placed it but MasterCard can't even see a credit in their system waiting to be applied. TCT wants their ATA (the appliance that connects to the computer) and says they'll charge $40 if it's not returned - and I have to pay the freight. No disaster recovery (something happened last year and they promised never to be caught short again - they didn't even have a customer list or email addy's to let people know what happened on 9/21) and questionable treatment once you're done with them. Oh they are POLITE. Good business and polity are 2 different things! This has soured us on VOIP - we're going cellphone only - and losing a 22 year-standing phone number because I can't see another company doing any better - this one looked SO GOOD!

TinCanTalk: one of the best I have been a customer of TinCanTalk for a year and a half and can say without hesitation that this company is one of the best in their business. When I needed technical support, I was given immediate, knowledgable attention. The phone quality is excellent. When I was searching for a VOIP service, I searched many VOIP review sites. Some are cheaper, but from the reviews I read, none matched TinCanTalk's. You have access to an easy-to-use web site and all the features you would possibly want. I would recommend TinCanTalk to anyone.

TinCanTalk: Reliable with Best Customer Service We've been using the VOIP Virtual PBX from Tin Can Talk for about a year now. Lots of great features, solid reliability and personalized customer service second to none. We have offices throught the Untied states. All of our reps are connected through the PBX including their VOIP lines, cell phones or landlines. The system works seamlessly. Any one in the company or any of our customers dial the three digit extension of anyone anywhere and the system connects us. We communicate through regular conference calls with as many as a dozen callers at atime. ATandamp;T doesn't even know how to do this anymore (I tried). The Tin Can Talk PBX system provides us with the capability and it's 100%, 100% of the time. Voice mail to email is a great time saver. Our reps use iPhones and Blackberry's and receive their voicemail via email wherever they are. I could go on and on about the features but the bottom line is that this capability would cost us over a thousand dollars a month from ATandamp;T but from Tin Can Talk we pay a small fraction of that amount. It doesn't get any better!

TinCanTalk - one outstanding company! TinCanTalk is one outstanding company I recently moved my company from New Jersey to North Carolina, and learned that the easiest way to take my corporate phone numbers with me was to use VOIP. I contacted a number of companies and found the service of each to range from non-existent to appalling. That is until I found Jerry at TinCanTalk. I decided to install the TCT VOIP system while I was in NJ and then take it with me debugged to NC. My NJ telephone company provided a nightmare combination router and modem with my DSL. Jerry solved the problems and delivered a perfectly working system. When I moved to NC I used cable internet connection with my choice of modem and router per Jerry's advice, but even then things got complicated. Yet again Jerry delivered a fully functioning system. There are so many great TCT service options Jerry spent all the time necessary, training me to get the most out of the system. And its not only Jerry who is service oriented, all the folk at TCT are a pleasure to do business with. Bottom line, I cannot recommend TCT more highly! If you are even thinking about VOIP then use TCT you will not regret it! Jeremy jlerner@lightforminc.com

In fact the owner and his wife often assist customers personally ! If you give them a call about you'll know what I mean. Tin Can Talk customer review I got an assignment to buy a new phone system and to reduce the cost of phone service for the company I work in. I quickly saw that hosted VOIP was the way to save money, but I didn't know what to expect in quality and reliability. The people at Tin Can talk were willing to answer all questions for me. Before I ever spent a dollar with them I must have called a dozen times as different questions came up. They were great. I got sensible, understandable answers to every question. I almost always got same day response to phone calls or e-mail - often within an hour. Let me say that I talked to at least 5 other phone service providers and none of them even came close to Tin Can service. I have now had the system running for several weeks and it has exceeded my expectations. Everything about it is excellent: Voice quality, PBX features, reliability, ease of use, price - everything. Several individuals, and a sister company have also subscribed to the Tin Can service with equally excellent results. I highly recommend Tin Can Talk, and I can hardly praise the people enough. If I could give them a 7 star rating I would do it.

Tin Can Talk Customer Support and Service ROCKS! This VOIP provider was excellent. We had a project that needed to relay the OCNumber for the Phone Tag subscription service. Other VOIP providers did not offer this service but they figured out a way to do it. They also answered and returned calls/emails QUICKLY and in detail. No prewritten templates that don't answer your questions! Would most definitely sign up again!

all around great company With the economy being the what it is, these days, I was forced to look elsewhere, for my phone service provider. Veriz#n was just too costly (land line). I had Fios, and started looking into VoIP Companies. After much research andamp; reviews, I chose Tin Can Talk, and couldn't be happier. Being fairly computer illiterate, I was nervous, at first. Their tech support painlessly guided me through all the steps...ported my number...set up a soft phone to use during the interim...tweaked my router setting.....in other words, they stayed with me, until it was right! If you've been thinking about trying a VoIP Co.....I would reccommend Tin Can Talk, first!

Utterly Exceptional I've tried a couple of different VOIP providers in search of one that supports Asterisk. TinCanTalk not only supports it, but the owner himself helped me work through my issues personally! He made it his mission to ensure that I was happy with my service; the experience has been nothing less than world-class.I'd recommend TCT to anyone, and if you are an Asterisk user I'd say you *definitely* need to give this company a shot. I tried AxVoice but both the quality and the service were both abysmal. I switched to Tin Can and I doubt I'll ever be leaving.

Great Provider I do VoIP installations for a living. Iandrsquo;m a Cisco CCVP (Cisco Certified Voice Professional. I have dealt with impossible providers over my career and let me tell youandhellip; TinCan is the BEST. The options on the account are amazing; the quality of the calls are top of the line. The support is the best I have dealt with, and Iandrsquo;m not just taking about VoIP here. Their customer service is incredible and the technical support is second to none. I rarely take time out to write reviews but this company deservers a recommendation. I have used some of their competitors and they do not compare. I know VoIP and TinCall is the best. Iandrsquo;m extremely satisfied with the service and support and I do not hesitate to recommend this provider to anyone whom reads this.

I FINALLY FOUND A GOOD SERVICE PROVIDER !!! After 2 failed service provider choices I am VERY PLEASED with Tin-Can-Talk.I have been a voice technician for more than 10 years now. I have worked professionally with both VoIP and traditional telephony technologies both at the service provider level and at the consumer level. Now as a small business owner I am faced with finding a service for my own andquot;small officeandquot;. I have a home office and several locations distributed throughout the county making VoIP a good fit for my situation. Unexpectedly I found few providers offering a andquot;Business Styleandquot; service, where I get all of the functions of a PBX you would have if you had purchased a regular phone system. The one or two that did offer Business Style Service priced the service above $100.00/mo. If I were to go with the a andquot;Home Styleandquot; service, then not only do I lose basic business functions, but these providers do not support the use of IP phones (you get an ATA for your home phone, with IP Phone use being 'unsupported' at best). So I cannot use my fancy IP phones to even mimic business functions. One of the two service providers I had previously would allow a andquot;Do It Yourselfandquot; approach if you wanted to use your IP phone, but even with the andquot;helpandquot; of their support staff, I found configuring my IP phone in my Asterisk(tm) server by hand, to be much easier! This is not what I was expecting from a pay-for service. Like most businesses, I need to have extensions, time-of-day call routing, and an auto-attendant (an auto-attendant is the message that answers and says ' You've reached XYZ Corp, Press 1 for Bill, 2 for Cindy....andquot;), in addition to the basic stuff like voicemail, etc. I also would like to get the use of the advanced functions of my IP phones. I was about to give up and install TrixBox, but on try #3 I signed up with Tin-Can-Talk and got more than I expected!! I now have all the andquot;Business Styleandquot; phone features and functions I want and need, for a reasonable price. I love the service Tin-Can provides, it is very different from the typical unhelpful surly nerd types I was exposed to with the previous two providers I had. I found them to be frustrating and arrogant, even if they were clueless; I am not sure how these jokers would have helped my wife or staff had they ever needed to called for assistance. You should not have to understand andquot;SIP NAT Traversalandquot; to get help or be treated with respect. Tin-Can's staff has treated me with the respect you expect as a valued customer. I have had service with Tin-Can now for about 3 months, the experience has been so much better than with my previous attempts I thought it was well worth mentioning. I hope this saves someone the time-consuming frustrations I ran into dealing with the clowny providers out there. Buyer be wary, and be sure to consider Tin-Can-Talk when researching you VoIP decision.

Tin-Can Connection phone service This phone system ended up costing so much more than we were first quoted and we had so many problems. Our phone systems kept not working and it interuppted our business. We missed an extreme amount of phone calls and wasted way too much time calling the provider to get help in our phones working. I would not recommend this service to anyone in a business setting.

Great service, reliable, Awesome Customer Service! We've been using TinCanTalk for over a year now. My only previous experience with consumer-grade VoIP was Verizon, which was not good.TinCan's customer service is great! We recently bought a house and during the move our ATA somehow died. TinCanTalk's customer support was fast and direct, and we were up and running in no time. They're always there if we have any questions or problems, which is reassuring.I will say that the sound quality was better under FIOS, but we had to get cable at our new house (no FIOS available...yet). I think it's due to the QoS issues intrinsic to cable Internet service. The sound quality did improve, however, with our new DECT 6.0 cordless phones. We chose Philips phones because they were on sale and reviews were decent; but I don't know if other brands would be better or worse. The biggest difference is the DECT 6.0 ability to avoid wifi and microwave oven entanglements. The voice service is cleaner and clearer over these phones than it was over our 2.4GHz VTech.

Tin Can Rocks I have tested Tin Can for the about the last 30 days. The people there have been great. They maybe be the last people on earth who give GREAT customer service to get you set up or to answer any questions!!! The audio is excellent probably 98% of the time. As with all VOIP, you have to expect a dropped call on occassion. My cell phone drops calls all the time and the audio is no where near as good but it costs me a bundle. Using Tin Can instead of Verizon's land line will save me about 50%!!

The shipment was fast, and the device worked nicely out of box. This is my first time using a voip phone, and I have tons of questions. Tin Can Talk is the BEST--switched from Vonage--hooray!!! After more than a year of endless problems with Vonage, I have finally found the solution to my VoIP needs. After all was said and done, Vonage ended up charging me more than $100 a month, with TERRIBLE customer service, and poor sound quality. But no more!TIN CAN TALK ROCKS!!!! Their $24.95 really is just $24.95 (plus $1.50 something-or-other charge which is fine). Not the over $100 a month that Vonage turned into.Customer service picks up 24/7 on the 2nd ring and I get to talk to someone who can actually help me. Vonage? Don't get me started--I was on the phone with them for FOUR HOURS today just trying to cancel. I had to tell my story to 5 different people and the Supervisor REFUSED to talk me! And now I checked my bank statement and they charged me another month AND a $50 cancelation fee--yikes! With Tin Can Talk, I get help on the first call, and the owner Jerry Hall will even respond quickly if I want to talk to him directly. Try that with any other company. Good luck. Most importantly for me, however, is sound quality, because I live in Mexico on the beach, but all my clients are in the U.S. With Tin Can Talk, they still think I'm in Arizona with my suit and tie on in the office, and that's the way I like it. No more apologizing to clients because Vonage sucks. We made a couple easy adjustments so now I can web conference and run other applications without it affecting my VoIP sound quality. Vonage was never able to do that.Look folks--I really did my homework on this one. And I lost countless thousands of dollars in sales because of screw ups by Vonage. Here is the solution: TIN CAN TALK!!!!!!

TinCanTalk: Personal Customer Service I have had this service for 6 months and it is the best.Jerry Hall the owner watches the trouble tickets. As a result I was having a problem with call forwarding and he called me, to see what was going on, as he could not get clarity out of the trouble ticket. When was the last time you had any phone provider take a personal interest in you. I am totally voip and loving every minute of it,especially when Qwest calls and says they will give me 3 months free to come back. That is a laugh and a half.TinCanTalk is a one of a kind company and as such deserves your buisness. One thing everyone who uses voip should realize is you need a router with QOS,which means it governs how your voip calls are handled in regards to how gets priority the computer or the call. That will stop all the grips about call problems. If you are tired of high bills ,give TinCanTalk a call

Tin Can Talk works for me. My former phone provider had raised their prices $15 a month which urged me to try a VOIP service .Upon researching the net I found 10 VOIP providers that service my area. After reading the reviews on each I had a list of 4 which provided decent quality and service. Of these four, two had a fair price with the option of USA/Canada included. Tin Can Talk offered the lower price so I proceeded to order it. I had my phone number ported to Tin Can Talk. This took about 2 weeks. The PC ATA box (a simple connective device) was shipped to me by rush overnight delivery (which was nice). I followed the simple instructions. Doing the plug ins and power ons. Presto, there was a dial tone and service was up and running. Since the few days after hooking up I have had clean connections with no background hiss or crackle of any kind. And, to my surprise, Tin Can Talk offers a person internet site for the andquot;userandquot; to tweak his/her settings. You can block calls, change answering settings, tweak tones and ring types...and more. BTWandgt; Since I started to type this review (past 5 minutes) ...I have had two incoming calls which sounded very clear.

Tin Can Talk (revision of previous review) Shortly after I hit the andquot;submitandquot; button to post my previous review, I did a little digging on the Tin Can Talk website, and found that there is TONS of very useful information on it, including hooking up the equipment, accessing voice mail from home, getting voice mail while away, etc. In fact, all of the issues I had (that I complained about in my previous review) were on their website the entire time. So, if and when you get your service from Tin Can Talk, make sure you check out the wealth of info on their website!!Our service has been extremely consistent with no outages. The call quality is usually good, occasionally static-y, but I'd guess if I spent a little time with customer service we could work this out!I highly recommend Tin Can Talk. It's saved us at least $50 a month over MCI, and the features and customer service are excellent.

Tin can talk is wonderful In my exodus from Vonage I did my homework, researched networks, customers service reviews and weighed VoIP providers in the forum of public opinion. TCT(short for Tin Can Talk) was head and shoulders above the conglomerates. I ordered service online and received information on what ports needed to be opened on my router... After I got an ATA, I had some unusual and very rare technical issues. The owner of the company Jerry Hall worked with me to narrow down what the issue was and helped me fix my equipment. After 4 months and many calls later.. I have phone service that is reliable, at a great price and service that can not be matched. Its a perfect blending of cutting edge tech, with Mom andamp; Pop service... As long as I need a phone, I will be with Tin-can-talk Rory Siwik

TinCan Talk is a top notch service! TinCan Talk is a top notch service! I've used their service for over a year now and it has been outstanding. The customer service I receive from Jerry and Susan is some of the best I've ever received. I'm so glad I got rid of the "singing commercial" VIOP service and chose TinCan Talk.

Could make some improvements We've had TinCanTalk for a few weeks now, and I've been generally happy. Our existing number was ported over about 2 weeks after we placed the order, which was much faster than the 4-6 weeks we were told. The voip box seems light and chintzy, but maybe they're all that way. The main complaint I had (and have) is the instruction manual on hooking the box up and how the voice mail and other features work is TERRIBLE. First of all, it's printed in mice type, but worse, it's a very poor translation from Chinese (I'm guessing) to English. If TinCanTalk would spend a day or two retyping the document into real English, it would be much more useful. As it was, I had to call customer service so they could walk me through the set up--which was easy, but not if you tried to use the manual, and so they could tell me how to access voice mail. (The code to dial voicemail was not included in the instructions). I'll need to call them again to find out how to access voicemail away from home.Customer service is pretty good. I've had to use it twice, and had a few minutes of hold time both times til I got a person. They were helpful and nice enough. However, my request for info on how to connect the service through the phone lines never came through. The service isn't as good as our landline was---static-y at times, kind of like talking on a cell phone, but overall we're pleased.

Another happy customer! I am so thrilled to have my VOIP with Tin Can Talk. I spent months researching VOIP providers until I found them. I am saving over $300 per month on phone and fax bills. Who could ask for anything more? I am so pleased with the customer service it makes no sense that every company you do business is not like them. I will certainly refer them to everyone I do business with!

Great service TinCanTalk is a great bargain, and the service is EXCEPTIONAL! My parents just went through a horror story of a time with VOIP.COM -- stay away from them!! -- but my wife and I love TinCanTalk. They talk you through everything and aren't reading from cards. They know their stuff! Sometimes the sound quality has some static to it but it far surpasses Verizon's Voicewing in quality and reliability, and we don't have some of the issues I've heard Vonage customers mention. Voicemail menu could be friendlier but it's not bad.

Brought me into the 21st Century I have had a sales and marketing business I run from my home via the internet for years now. But when I moved to the country I was too remote for many of the connection services I was used to in the city. Even phone service was a problem, not mention internet access. The people at Tin Can Talk worked diligently at being able to offer me great phone service. They should of given up on me and my location, but they didn't. I now have awesome phone service for a whole lot less that what the local phone company was offering - or should I say might be able to offer me. I am now in full acceleration making those calls with surprisingly great clarity and performance - Thank you - TinCanTalk

Great Service I thought that I would drop you a line expressing satisfaction with your product and services. Some consider me to be knowledeable about Telecommunications and Voice Mails. I have over 54 years in the Communications Industry and retain a business in that area. First thought is that I am impressed with the clarity of your Voice over Internet Product. A major complaint Industry wide is the hollow sounding circuit or the clip experienced during a conversation. In over 300 calls I have not experienced that. Secondly the convienience of having a local Area Code for my number is appreciated. As a majority of my calls and friends live within my home area it makes for a pleasant and inexpensive way to keep in touch. This applies to my friends inward calls as well as my outbound. My wife and I are of an age where Doctors, Pharmacies etc. are important to us. We don't miss a call due to your reliable service. Your Voicemail is easy to use, easy to understand, The Main Menu of Tin Can Talk is simple and you could teach the big boys something about Clarity and ease of use All in all we are very satisfied with your product and our association. We recommend you to our friends and Business Associates. We expect to continue doing so. Regards Harvey
