Parsippany, NJ, May 30, 1996 (DLD DIGEST) -- AT&T is holding free half-day seminars in major cities throughout the U.S. to recruit experienced Web site designers and artists for its Creative Alliance Program (CAP). AT&T marketing experts will explain how the creative community can market its talents to businesses that don't have the expertise, time or staffing needed to professionally design and produce their own Web sites. The seminars follow the recent launch of AT&T Easy World Wide WebSM (EW3SM) Services, a Web hosting offer that provides businesses with a quick and easy way to build a presence on the Web without incurring the upfront costs of hardware and software. AT&T will provide EW3 customers with a list of CAP members for Web site design assistance. Additionally, CAP members who place orders for EW3 hosting services for their clients will be eligible for financial incentives. AT&T will also offer designers the option of putting their designs on a cyber portfolio on the AT&T Easy World Wide Web home page for customer perusal. To qualify for the AT&T Creative Alliance Program, designers and artists should be familiar with Web design application tools and have experience in one or more of the following areas: Specialized expertise in vertical markets, such as real estate, healthcare, banking, etc. - Multimedia, CD-ROM and/or Internet production - Desktop graphic production - Digital audio/video editing - Kiosk content programming - System integration.
