How much do you want to make?
The worldwide market for telecommunications services is enormous. Millions of dollars can be made without achieving anywhere near a 1% market share. Future advances in technology make the income opportunities in this business practically limitless. Someone is going to be making money in this business. Why not you?
It is not uncommon for a good sales agent to put on $50,000 worth of long distance monthly billings with a vendor over the course of a year. If you are earning a top-notch commission, let's say a 10% residual, your commissions each month could be as high as $5,000.
Someone who works full-time in this business should be able to sign up enough accounts over the course of a year to generate $50,000+ in long distance billing each month.
Generally, the longer you are in the telecommunications sales business, the better you become will at it, and the higher your sales figures will be. So, after the first year you should be capable of doing at least this well.
Many master sales agents produce in excess of $1,000,000 worth of revenue for their vendors each year. These agents easily earn in excess of $10,000 in commissions each and every month.
Even a below-average agent should be able to capture between $10,000-$30,000 a month in billing over the course of a year. So, after the first year your monthly commission check would be (at 10%) between $1,000 and $3,000.
The longer you are an agent, the higher your income will grow. Your sales and commissions are cumulative, not one-time payments. Every customer you add will add to your monthly income.
